Bloodshot eye

Hey, when J had my poppy out this morning I noticed she had a slightly bloodshot eye just in the corner. B2817C91-F7C2-4DBF-A8BA-18480F90FC20.webp I’ve attached a photo.
is it anything serious? Thank you!
 
:agr: Eyes are classed as an emergency. The good thing is they can be seen by any vet, not just an exotic.
 
Please see a vet promptly for any eye problem; ideally as soon within 24 hours as possible and if necessary as an out-of-hours emergency if the damage is really bad. Damage which is often more extensive than visible and can deteriorate very quickly.
In the UK, eye injuries will get seen by any vet as soon as possible. You do not need an exotic vet; piggy eyes and eye treatment is the same as for other common pets, so any general vet will do.
