Hello everyone,
The other day I gave the pigs a paper bag in their cage because they love to hide in them. Today I took it out to check if it was too wet for them to use and discovered a red spot among the pee stains.
Is this anything to be worried about? They haven't had any red veggies or anything like that.
Thank you! :)

Urine does and to oxidise when exposed to the air, and this can often look like blood.
Was it a bright red spot (clearly different from the regular urine stains) or not?
If you are worried you can always place some puppy pads or an old light coloured towel in the cage and see if that shows up anything?

It wasn't clearly defined from the urine stains. I put puppy pads in and will continue to keep an eye out. Thank you!
