I have three boars, Tommy and Sparky live together they were bonded at 8 weeks and 8 months respectively and have got on great however in the last month they are have started arguing and rumbling there has been no real fights to speak of but some very heated words exchanged, I think a couple of times one of them has executed some violence towards the other but it hasn't developed into a fight. It seems to be Tommy who is doing the biggest percentage of the fighting and swearing. He is now 6 months old

I have another Piggy who lives on his own Prince Harry and I occasionally allow Sparkyand Harry to enjoy some play time together. Harry responds quite well to Sparky and appears to enjoy his company, Sparky is more suspicious and unsure but there are has been no disagreements so far just the usual dominance deciding exchanges. There playtimes tgather started after Tommy and Sparky started having domestic disputes.

What I wondering is do I seperate Tommy and Sparky and try and bond Sparky with Harry or will their behaviour settle, I really don't want to seperate Sparky and Tommy as they do yell for each other when one is out their cage and the other isn't and when they are enjoying floor time they still follow each other and there are no disagreements they have two food bowls in their cage and seperate beds so that they can get away from each other

my piggies were outside in the shed the whole time that wanda's boys were here

hope you get it sorted wanda

Thanks for your advice, last night they argued the best part of the night and this morning when I got up there are no injuries on either pig but, the water bottle and its holder was lying in the middle of the cage. Sparky often pulls the bottle too hard-he likes to bang it off the side of the cage and sometimes pulls it off but how they got the holder off is beyond me :o.

If worse comes to the worse I will try and bond Harry with Sparky, they seem to get on well, they sometimes enjoy playtime together which is quite amusing to watch, as Sparky goes head butt him and Harry immediately lift his head up as his habit leaving poor Sparky confused as to why hes' head butting fresh air.

I have switched their cages round with Harrys as Harrys cage is slightly bigger in the hope that it will given them some more space I am rather reluctant about it though as Harrys cage is on the floor and Sparky spends half his life on his hind legs watching the world go by and shouting at people.

Though (see photo gallery) Sparky has come up with his own method of dealing with it!
