Ralfie again! ::)

My mum was looking after them over the weekend while i was in london and said his eye looked a bit gunky, so i got home sunday night and thought i'd give it a day or 2 to see if it improved, by this morning it was still looking slighty gunky so i gave him and eye drop but it didnt drain at all like it did when he's had conjunctivitis, it just mixed with the gunk and stayed in his eye :-\ so I'm thinking blocked tear duct?! how do i sort this out?
Thanks
Emma x

Panda is fine :) she loves the singer Duffy, she sings along lol! Ralf doesnt lean on her anymore, they clean eachother but prefer their own space now! i think he thought she was a walking pillow when she 1st got here ;D

;D ;D ;D awww bless ;D :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
poor old Ralfie! it sounds like it could be a blocked tearduct :-\ i'd see a vet i think, he'll probably need some eye drops or something :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: (((HUGS))) :smitten: :smitten:

My late rabbit permenantly had a blocked tearduct! We went to the vets who gave us eyedrops which worked but never completely stopped it, so we ended up just bathing it in salt water everyday, he was about 10 years old at that point, when they offered us an operation for him but at his old age I didnt want to risk it :) He carried on and lived for another year after that too :D

Thanks everyone, i already had unopened eye drops from the last time so i just used them but should i maybe be massaging it to stop the blockage?! x

hoping ralfie is doing better today. now i have a vision in my head of a black and white firry pillow with legs walking around :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: hoping all goes well with ralfie, have to try and get that vision out of my head now. :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: it's like when a tune jumps in your head and you can't get it out of your head. :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: hugs and cuddles to you and your furbabies/pillow :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: girls send :-* :-* :-*
