hello, i’m new to this forum. i’m not sure if my guinea pig is experiencing bloat, but his stomach is a bit hard and it is bulging. I have confirmed that he is a male, and he is eating normally and drinking. when i pick him up, his stomach seems to become tense and when i touch that area, he squeals but in general he doesn’t enjoy being picked up. should i be concerned?

thanks

:wel: to the forum!
I agree that taking him to the vet for a check would be the best option as it is always better to be safe than sorry.

Hi!

Please see a vet asap if you suspect bloat. Severe bloat can kill.
