Bladder stone problem

Hi guys! Some of guys just already know but I'm from brazil ans here we dont have so much experience with guinea pig Health problems and me and my vet are needing some guidance. So o have two guinea female guinea pigs, one of them is Dolores - who is having a 11mm stone in her bladder and the other one is Cleide, who is having a 23mm stone. None of them are having any sympthoms. They are pretty well having 4 years an a half, and we just find out because i do checkups very often! Sorry if my english is not so good I'm really trying my Best here to help the two girls that i most love in my life and i know you guys do have more experience than us here in south america. So we think that they might expel the stones because its not so big but i wanna hear from you guys what you think we should do? They do not pee blood or cry doing it, but I'm very worried about this. Please Give us some lights about how to Deal with it and what you guys thinks about the size. Another fact its that beside Cleide is a female, shes very big as a male having 826g and Dolores (she os spayed) has just 693 but both of them are very Healthy

Sorry to hear this.

I can not offer advice but will offer support.
Wishing you, Cleide and Dolores the best x

I can’t offer advice only well wishes. However my sweet poppy had an 8mm bladder stone that caused her lots of discomfort and my vet told me it wouldn’t passed on it’s own.

I’m sorry to hear this.
Sows are sometimes able to pass very small stones but I do not think ones of the size you mention would pass and certainly not without considerable pain. Surgical removal is usually the only way to deal with them.

I’m so sorry your girls both have stones. Were they found by X-ray/scan? I agree that the only option is to operate as they probably won’t be able to pass them on their own as they are quite large stones. Good luck.

I tola ir wrongly! Dolores gás 1 mm stone and Cleide is 2 mm guys um sorry kkkkk

Dolores has 1.1 mm and Cleide 2.3 mm stones omg I'm só bad with Math! She said 0,11 ans 0,23 cm and i converted it wrong!

That’s ok. Don’t worry. As you have girls they can sometimes pass small stones without the need to operate. But I don’t have any experience with girls. I had a boy with a stone which he couldn’t pass on his own. Good luck.
