One of my guinea pigs nails are black and there curving over and I was just wondering how I should do it because I don’t want them to be curved but I don’t want to cut the quick what shall I do

Curling nails can happen with age or if they are left to grow too long. I usually trim more regularly but small amounts off in the hopes of not catching the quick but it's not easy especially when they get more curved. As said above you can ask for them to be done at your vets practice and some rescues will also offer this as a paid for service.

thanks u

It's hard with dark nails because you can't see the quick. Cut small amounts often instead of a big cut all at once, if that makes sense. If you should cut the quick, don't panic- you can stop the bleeding with flour or styptic powder and it should be just fine, just watch for any signs of soreness or infection (though I've never had this happen and unfortunately have had a pig with a nail injury and have cut the quick clipping nails a couple times myself!) Hope this helps!
