I have 3 female guineas who all live together, two are exactly the same age one is about 2 or 3 weeks older, the older one got her ear bitten in the run the other day.
the older little girl ellie has always been very slightly an outsider for some reason even though they were all purchased from the same place at the same time this is the first time it has ever resulted in blood being drawn though

Not sure if it applys to Sows but I have 2 boys and they were fighting and blood was drew so now i have them in 2 cages next to each other they just dont liek each other anymore :( x

they have always had their squabbles this is the first time blood has been drawn, i dont want to separate them but if it continues ill have no choice mind you this was in their run has not happened in their hutch

Keep an eye on them. Sows do fall out much less often than boars, but it is not unheard of.

A lot of my pigs have dog-eared (excuse the pun!) ears that have been nibbled. This is different to someone taking a huge chunk out of the ear. Wait and see what happens.

My girls groom each other by ear licking, This often ends with a shrill wheek as one of the piggies gets a bit carried away with the grooming. There are just usually nicks on the skin which do bleed but no badly. Just keep a close eye on them. It just may be a case of grooming that went too far..

ok thank you i will this may be just what it was will keep an eye out tho
