Biting

[Hoggle*&*Ludo]

Ludo keeps biting me when he doesn't want a hug (which is all the time!).

It doesn't hurt, it isn't a nasty bite, more a nip.

Is this normal? I heard guinea pigs aren't meant to be biters.

awwwwwww hi sweetie...........yup all he's trying to do is say, Mummy i want to get down rolleyes
I'm sure with time he'll be happy to cuddle you a bit longer each time
Each and every piggie has their own pigsonalities, they either like cuddles or they don't, if they don't getting them to change can be a bit of hard work, lots of TLC and patience sweetie.
Keep up with the great work, speak gently and softly and remember to have the treaties in hand so Ludo will be happier to sit in your arms

Piggies are individuals and some are happy to go with the flow and other like everything their own way. I don't so much get cuddles from furby as spend time with her when she honours me with her presence she likes to use me as a climbing frame and then likes to choose her own place to sit on me normally a shoulder. When i try and encourage her to just sit still on my lap she get bored and nibbles me to say home please taxi!

Ahh thanks for the reassurance.

I was saying to my BF last night that I don't want it to mean I get closer to Hoggle and he said well Ludo can be mine then. I have converted him already! :<>
