biting or nibbling?

hiii!

i just wondered if anyone knows the difference between biting and nibbling, does biting mean that it draws blood immediately?

When my guinea pigs 'bite' me it doesnt draw blood and doesnt break skin but i am holding my finger under their mouth so idrk what it means. please can someone help, thanks!

also, one more thing, one of my guinea pigs when holding him, he sometimes pulls my clothes with his teeth, I'm guessing this means he feels uncomfortable, because of this i very rarely pick him up while my arms are bare
