So now that herbie has a friend some interesting things r happening. Herbie has always been relaxed, never really a chewer or a biter. Since Sven has arrived ( they r side by side ) they both try constantly to get at each other. Biting the cage, which I get is normal. But we have had Sven more than a month now and it goes on...

We did try introductions, herbie got a cut lip, so since them we have been taking it slow.

Anyway I think Sven is teaching herbie to bite, when on lap time herbie would always settle and sleep but recently after a while he starts to pull on our clothes. Herbie always chutters when he needs a wee so it's not that. I should say he gives kisses all the time.
Sven is so skittish it's unreal, if I move in the room he bolts back to his house in a cloud of bedding and hay, but he comes out exploring and takes food wen on our lap.

I'd love to introduce them but herbie the guinea lion who is much bigger than Sven, mounts Sven then bolts and cries to his mommy. He gets super stressed.

Each time they have floor time they spend a good bit looking for the other who's still inside.

Just don't know what to do or why the biting from herb, I get Sven has a different personality and won't enjoy lap time as much as ...

Herbie is getting more stimulation from having Sven as a neighbour and is also becoming gradually more confident, so I would actually see that as a positive development, even if it means that he is no longer quite as clingy or cuddly.

There is nothing to wrry about how the two boys are interacting with each through the bars.
