Every time I interact with George, he bites me. Sometimes really hard, others just a nip. If I'm feeding him, and my hand gets too close to his mouth, he'll bite. Same if we're having lap time, carrying to or from the pen, or if he's on the chair next to me he'll just walk up to me and chomp down! My other pigs never bite; so I have no idea why he does it. Anybody have advice or ideas about why he's so biting prone?

Try picking him up in a towel so he can't get his toofies into you........then slowly stroke him.......keep this up for a week or so and see if it calms him down a bit :)

GEORGE no bitey's mummy please, she LOVES YOU HEAPS XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

I wear long sleeves with my girl

My Jem was a terrible biter, and he has grown into a total character! I would blow on his face and say NO. He would look startled but this worked. He still nips me now and then! Often piggies use this as communication, he will do it if I am being mushy and have interrupted his play time! Or if he needs a wee etc. I think the most intellegent pigs do this :))
One thing to make sure of is that he doesn't have mites or lice, this can make them tetchy as you would imagine. Take George to the vets for a check up, make sure he is in tip top health. Then you can be certain it's just behavioural. Good luck Xx
