Hi everyone,

I have noticed over the last couple of days that whenever I go to pick up one of the babies she bites and scratches, but is perfectly fine once settled. I only ever pick them up to weigh them as they still haven’t reached 250g so I weight them everyday. The other baby is fine with me picking her up, but I was thinking that maybe she is just scared and things I’m a predator. Both Erma and Beatrix are perfectly fine with it now. Any ideas?

I would think it is just due to being scared. Do you herd her into a cuddle sack or similar to pick her up? If not, then I’d suggest you try that rather than picking up directly from the cage

I normally put Erma and Beatrix in a tunnel or pick them straight up as they are fine with either, but with the babies (as they are tiny) it is easier to. I might start doing that with them though
