Hi guys ,

I have noticed these marks on my skinny she has been with my other pigs for about a week now from what i have seen they have been getting on well eating together and sitting somewhat close together but i have noticed today she has some nips on my bum and some scratches ( not showing up well on camera) on her back .
One of my pigs has no social awareness and does walk on top on her sometimes as well as my other pig.

Should i be worried and separate them . I havent seen any other behaviours such as teeth chattering or circling eachother so not sure what to do?

If you haven’t seen any chasing or nipping then it could be from accidental contact. I’d keep a very close eye on them. Good luck. Hope they continue getting along. 🤞🏻

I agree with weepweeps.Skinny pigs get grazes and scratches more easily than haired piggies.Monitor closely,as sometimes a benign scratch can turn into fungal .Unfortunatley skinny pigs are prone to fungal/skin infections.ive a skinny pig at present whos scratching herself and has white spots around her neck, which the vet says is fungal.treating with fungal oral medication.
