HI
Just took my gorgeous Teddy out for a cuddle and noticed he has a bite mark on his ear which has drawn blood but clotted over. I havnt noticed my boys fighting although if you have read my other post Ted is a bit more agressive to me.
I have checked him over and all else seems fine. Will I have to seperate the 2 or is it just a little squabble which is hopefully over now?

Hi and welcome, keep a strict eye them, could you have them out in play time and observe them? How old are your furbabies it could be that they are adolescents and they will do this just naturally. Refer to past threads on this matter there's heaps of advice here, just ask.
Good luck i'm sure someone here will give you better advice, just go with your heart you'll know. Cuddles and piggie kisses to your little ones

Thanks for the reply, i am not sure on an age but i would say about a year old.
My heart tells me to take Teddy out as he such a lovable piggy and he looks smaller than Billy. Billy is huge while teddy is thinner.
Dont wanna go with what my heart as as I want them both happy.

OK someone who remembers all the threads, there's one here that will help i'm sure i read about this not too long ago (sorry forgetful in my older years)

I believe patience and lots of supervision is the best way to go, can you have them together and feed them treats and let them see they're equal?

Well we have seperated them. Teddy was so much thinner than Bill and Bill was over dominerring and I didnt think Teddy was happy.
Good news is Teddy is a different piggy now. He has been exploring during floor time and is more responsive to me and overall his lil character is beginning to show. Hopefully he will fatten up now too.
I am sure I have done the right thing in this situation.,

Just to let you know Teddy is doing very well. I decided to rehome the other guinea so if anybody has experience with a biting piggy that can rehome him or can point me in the right direction I would appreciate any help.
My piggy needs an understanding home, someone please help him.
