Just had some info from OH who works in the Hippodrome building. There has been a spate of mobiles being snatched from women in the bullring area.

One of her volunteers for the dance festival was witness to an incident today. The news is that there have been a spate of such thefts.

If you are attending keep your belongings safe.

I am big and ugly enough that I doubt they would try it with me.

Cheers for the warning - it does pay to be careful. There are gangs that work around the Market area at times and Bullring can be crowded that attracts pick pockets.
I read there was a fight between 3 ladies in the Market last week - think one bumped into another and it took off big time - gather police had to be called, made 2 arrests and one lady ended up in hospital after being hit by a flying tin of baked beans - wrong to laugh I know but sounded like something off Shameless!
Hoping most attendees will walk back to New Street in groups, nice and safe!
