Bing went pop!

I've had Bing and the three andrew sisters next to Merlin and the 11 Welsh 'ladies' and they have been fine been able to see and get quite up close to each other and their have been no problems at all initially lots of sniffin then every one ok
so i thought try them in together and have a large group
WELL!
Girls all thought oooh gossip But the boys started! and then Bing lost it totally in five minutes he went from a gentle friendly thing to total psycho! :o
he went for Merlin fur flew he then went for the girls every one got chased! Patt who he has lived with for 6months plus was being chased and he had some of her fur in his mouth! :o
So i removed him from the run (approx 9ft by 9ft)
and he's still chattering at me!
he's calming down now but the big group has settled and are fine but Bing is on his own(neutered boy as is Merlin) i don't want to risk putting him with either the big group as their are the piglets in their or regroup him with the Andrew sisters as he went for them too!
any one have any suggestions?

Some time out should do the trick....see what happens after an hour when you put him back with his original group.
Brave of you to try thou ;D
 
I'd try again one more time and try and distract him by making a noise when you see him getting started. If it doesn't work out him back in his group. My two boars were likr this orignally with my 5 girls at play time and now thay are fine. The odd bit of teeth chattering still now and then but they are all happy. xx

Boys!

They can take a while to calm down, bless them - all that adrenalin! Hopefully he'll be ok with his usual girls once he's taken some deep calming breaths!

Well split them back to their original groups evry one fine calm and settled except for Laverne and Maxene who are not happy with Bing at the moment and keep turning away from him
we think they made new friends and miss them!
 
give it a try again and see what happens? You might be suprised. xx
 
i would wait a few days and let all piggies forget about what happened first. perhaps you could add one new piggy at a time to bings group and see how it goes. good luck with it. :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: i know it's not but it must have been a bit funny to see one mad piggy ;D ;D ;D hoping bing settles down maybe he was just overwhelmed. i am sorry it didn't work out first time round maybe try nuetral terrority. good luck O0 love your set up :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
 
at first it was Bing and Merlin looked quite impressive but no teeth just lots of strutting and posing etc then Bing started running around chasing merlin then he started on the girls chasing them and then i noticed some fur in Bings mouth and it changed colour every so often and when he started on the girls i just grabbed him daft thing was he kept chattering at me! so i chattered back! (easier with denture plate in)
then i stared him out!
blew in his face gently once and he quitened down so i put him back in But started again!
So picked him up again daft thing he was calm every timed i picked him up
But when i put him in again and he started again! it was out and calm down! but he was well wound up! took a good hour and abit to calm down on his own!
But soon as he was out everyone calmed and no trouble!
 
its quiet out their but the andrew sisters are not happy! just popped out (scare the neighbours abit with torch light at the bottom of the garden!)
Max and Lave are sat not looking too happy!
i think they are telling him off! Patty looks peed off too!
 
all quiet again Maxene and Laverne still missing the big group they sit seperate from the other two
Patty and Bing must be inlove he had mouthfuls of her fur yesterday and today sat snuggled up together!
