Rosie suddenly fell very ill with a UTI. Poor thing developed bloat on top of it and was/is on a lot of medication. My heart was breaking because she went from a cheeky little bandit to a quiet piggie in pain, I thought I might lose her. She’s perked up and I’m feeling hopeful.
Rosie’s sister Lily has been a superstar. Looking out for Rosie, giving her kisses. When Rosie finds a sleeping bag to hide away in, Lily parks herself outside and sleeps next to her sister, every time. She’s also developed a new habit that I’ve never seen before; she retraces/follows Rosie’s every step and move. Rosie exits her sleeping bag, Lily goes and peeks inside. Rosie climbs over a tunnel, Lily does the same. Rosie goes upstairs, Lily follows her. Rosie goes to eat, Lily goes, too.
I can’t be with Rosie 24/7, I just can’t, but I’m so glad Rosie has a sister like Lily.
