Sorry, humour me here. I'm having a brain fart!

http://www.rabbithutchesworld.co.uk/p/Liberta_Extra_Large_Rabbit_Retreat_-_Cage_and_Stand.htm

Would this cage be large enough for 2 pigs? Says it's 3ft x 5ft, which makes 15ft^2?

Now I'm rehoming Little Dave, I'm rethinking my housing, and think that a cage on a stand, with an additional cage on top would be the best idea for my 2 pairs and incredibly small house!

3ft x 5ft is definately a great size though I'm not sure what your talking about with the ; 15ft^2?
:)

Ive just purchased 4 new cages and am selling 2 of those liberta cages (for £50 each) - for informational purposes i had a homecheck with the rspca when i adopted wexford and that cage passed as being suitable for 3 pigs :))

I've got one that size - though a different design so the stand is not part of the cage. It's great for a pair of boys.

Those cages are just slightly smaller than the liberta cages - I'm not sure if its the stand or the overall inside cage height, but there is a considerable difference in cage size between the two (the liberta cages are huuuuuge!)

If you calculate from the measurements in meters, they've got the wrong dimension for ft.

Width (in m): 0.78
Depth (in m): 1.54

Would be:
Width (in ft): 2.56
Depth (in ft): 5.05

Which is only 12.93 sq.ft. It's still big enough for 2. But it's not 15 sq.ft as they lead you to believe.

Also keep in mind that they are probably measuring from the outside. The inside would be a tad smaller.

You'd also need to put down a solid floor for the shelf, or remove it as guinea pigs shouldn't be on wire floors.

I have a cage and stand similar. Mine is the Ferplast 140. My three piggies live happily in their and have three hours floor time each day too. I think your two will be very happy in that cage.

:o Are they still for sale? Do they have the ability to flatpack?

Not sure how i missed your post - but yeah ive still got both for sale (i havent had time to list them on here for sale yet) - 1 of the bases is white and the other is grey ( i bought them at different times and from two different places).

The cage/stand sections all flat-pack as ive dismantled them - however the base is the largest part rolleyes
