Darwin does this all the time. She'll literally lick all the way up your arm if you let her.

I've always assumed it's because of sweat salt deposits on your skin, but I don't really know.

I love it when they do that. I like to think they're piggie kisses but it's far more likely that they're using us as a salt lick, lol!
