Porcellus

Do your guinea pigs like biffing you if you put your hand on their head? Mine do it quite often , especially when they're excited (when they're being taken out the garage door towards the lawn, you get biffed to oblivion!)

I think its because they don't like there heads being touched I think its the piggie equivilent of going oi! get off!:)) some times dennis does it when hes exited:))

yep when I am stroking tiger sometimes he gets sick of me stroking his head and throws his head back to get me off :))

Same here, Abby & Molly do it when i pet them between the eyes... I feel like it means..."hey now, quit that, i dont like it"

But Porcellus....it sounds like excitement to me in your case

yes, i was talking to Marie the other day about this. gilbert nudges my hand away whenever I'm petting him while he's eating.:)) i find it cuterolleyes

Sorry, daft question, but what is "biffing"? It certainly wasn't part of my English lessons back in Switzerland!

i didn't know what it meant at first. but after reading what they said, i understood. its when they nudge their heads up when you touch them on their heads. thats what i concluded.:))

Mine doesn't do too often what I find really funny as my very first piggy boy used to do it everytime you went to give him a little touch on the head :(|) They sometimes do it tho when they are on my lap and want to get their way thru my armpit hahaha :(|) :(|)
