Hi, my guinea pig, Squeaks has a UTI and has to take her medicine 3 times a day (2 are at the same time.) She is very overly dramatic and will not take it. (squeals, squirms and bobs her head away from the syringe) The vet showing us made it look so easy, but I think part of Squeaks cooperation was due to fear. So, is there any way that is the least stressful for her (and easier for me)?
Thanks!
Abby

Hi and welcome

Please have a look at this guide with pictures and videos on how to medicate and syringe piggies, both willing and unwilling ones, with lots of practical and helpful little tricks and tips.
Pet medication is generally unflavoured and therefore not nice tasting; the first time it goes in fairly easily but by the second time, piggies know what is up.
