my piggy has recently had mites and i’m going to give her third treatment on friday! i’m going to give her a bath before the last treatment to wash away any eggs or mites that are still there.

what shampoo should i use?

Hello. After the first treatment all the mites should be gone. Once any eggs hatch into mites they should be gone after the second treatment. The third treatment is just a precaution to get any stragglers. It’s really not necessary to bath your piggy after these treatments. I’ve treated my two piggies twice for mites and did not bath them at all. Piggies really don’t like to be washed and find it very stressful. 😃

They shouldn't need a bath if you have followed the prescribed treatment. My girls had mites and the last treatment was at the end of January this year. At the end of the treatment, I just did a deep clean of their hutch and run with F10 and washed any bedding at 60 degrees. F10 is a vet grade disinfectant and kills of most stuff including mould spores. You can get it from Amazon. It's much cheaper to get it as a concentrate.
