Where would be the best place to get fleece as I am going to make the jump to fleece when my wood shavings run out.

Ive seen some on the market but I did not like the look of the stuff they had and it was not able to be put in the tumble dryer on days when its raining outside

You can buy good quality fleece by the metre when you google for materials warehouse/fabrics.

Otherwise, primark, ikea or supermarket acrylic or polyester bed throws or baby blankets are another good source.

I have seen a lot of fleeces in charity shops and car boot sales, the really thick fleeces that you would normally spend £5-6 on were going for 50p-£1, great bargains.

tumble drying is very good for fluffing up the fibers, I would worry it would stop the wicking process. Fleece really does not take long at all to dry, I have never had a problem with getting it dry in the winter and I had huge blankets of the stuff

I hung a fleece out in the rain on Sunday, neighbours must think I'm nuts but as long as its dry when it comes in, it just needs a good blow on the line whatever the weather! Even in the damp it's dry in less than an hour.
I've had mine from B&M bargains, asda and dunelm, they're the best in my opinion. Asda do some too but they weren't big enough for me lol.

you are not alone, I hang mine out especially if its raining to get the bits off it and give it a good airing before I put it in the machine.

Your local fabric shop will sell it, I bought mine today from a fabric shop 10 minutes from where I live, they sell it by the metre in a variety of different colours. Google fabric shops on Google Maps and it will pinpoint the ones closest to you. Also people say you can buy it from Primark, Argos etc. they will sell it as 'throws' and it will massive but just cut it down to the dimensions you need, leave an inch or two in case the fleece shrinks in the washing machine. Also they will sell it in Pet Shops as dog/cat blankets which are just made from fleece but I don't really like the paw print design they have on them. Also fleece is available to buy from fabric-online.co.uk in a lovely variety of prints and colours, I really love Coral Brown Leopard fleece and the plain lilac fleece.

Hope this helped!

Thanks for the help ^_^
I found some purple fleece. Also be a good excuse to my mum to get some new towels are ours are starting to get old and loosing the fluffiness since they are a good 10 years old. So I can steal them to put underneath the fleece.
