I need a decent cage for my two piggies.
I would like it to be plastic based and whatever suitable for the top i.e small wire as I've got two 8 week old pigs..

I can spend up to £100 but it would need to big quite big. i.e way over 120cm in length?
I've got enough room for the cage so anything anyone can recommend please, would be fab :)

Post any brands/makes or websites that I can buy from please :) :)

I'm rubbish at this so I need your help! :{

I have decided to buy more C&C cubes and make a mansion of a cage out of them and buy correx etc etc ..

:D :) :) :) :)

I've got Ferplast cages as I don't have a great deal of floor room for c&c cages (I can stack my Ferplasts) I've never had any problems with them.

The minimum size cage for 2 pigs is 120cm, or, I believe, 4x2 (but I'm sure you know this already :) ) This obviously increases with the number of animals.

Please post some pics of your pigs enjoying their new palace when it's ready - we'd love to see them!

I'm going to bear that in mind, Jerrybelly.
I love C&C but I still need to buy correx .. :S

I, ideally want a piggie mansion/palace for them so the bigger the better really! I have spent time making my C&C cage up today in my bedroom (where I keep my piggies :) )
It's 6x4 with the extension of their wooden homemade cage on it.
I've got thick cardboard for the sides so they can't escape. I think i'll go and order the correx just now, get it over and done with! :)
I'm just so excited .. I'm hoping to have a vw campervan theme for them so fingers crossed i'll get some stuff suitable hehe.

I'll most certainly post pics! :D

As an alternative to a cage or C&C set-up you could but an outdoor run, the metal fold down type, Thee's lots of new ones on Amazon & Ebay for £30 to £40. They make a Correx Base then you could also have a second level at one end. I have a large one which I made for 4 piggies then one died & now it's divided into two with 3 in one end & 2 in the other. For pictures please go to this earlier thread:- http://www.theguineapigforum.co.uk/showthread.php?103194-A-Different-Type-of-Run&highlight=

As you can see, my run is on a plywood base with wheels but you could put it a large shelf or table or directly onto the floor.

Ahhh! I have that exact run :)
But since it's in my bedroom next to me, I don't want it to be that high :/ But great idea, i'm going to bear that in mind for a downstairs area :)
