Just thought i'd start a thread off to ask people which hidey people think their pigs prefer best - pigloo, wooden house, cuddlecup etc?
I'm thinking of getting some new stuff but want to get the general piggy community opinion before purchasing :)p

Some of mine like their pigloos and others love their cozy cups and tunnels.

Mine have pigaloos and love them but i just made a little ouse out of a shoe box and they seem to like that even more and it was freerolleyes

Mine are loving the wooden houses that we gave them, mind you they also like their snuggle beds. I think a mix of things are best!

Mixed opinion from my guys. Tuppence likes to hide - generally under vet bed! Ignoring completely her igloo or wooden house. Hec and Arthur like their wooden house (they appear to like to chew through them instead) Collin likes a good pile of hay. The same as Ralph his brother. Daisy and Moo like the woven mat tunnels from pets at home. Mr Pig just follows Tuppance around.

Mine only have wooden houses, so I can't say what they prefer. But they like the wooden houses :) They can chew them, jump on top of them or lie on top, they stay warmer on cold days and stay cooler on hot days I think, than plastic houses, but mine are outdoors so that's more important. :)

They do love snuggling on a piece of vet bed or fleece though, so I think they'd like something comfy too. :) Though they like snuggling into soft hay too and get to eat while relaxing :))

chocco and marvin just love cardboard box's and have means i can cut extra holes for access so they can also use them as tunnles.
Cuddle cups we a big nono....had cuddle cups with legs for a while as pigs tried to tunnel under them...then they were just left in a corner in favour for box's...

Phew! I thought my boy Edward was the only one to do that lol Jacob just lies on top of the vet bed looking at the lump underneath as if he was saying 'duh!' lol

I have bought pigloos, cozies etc I even made them cozies and cushions but he's spent the last 2 days burying himself under the vetbed!

Silly boy x

I have a range of things - log huts, wooden houses, pigloos, cosies, tunnels, snug corners... but then with ten piggies there is bound to be a range of preferences!

Mine have a two storey wooden house, two multi colored wooden caves and a fleece tunnel. I think the wooden house is by far the favorite followed by the tunnel.

I don't think there's a single perfect hidey and it's pig-specific really.

Biscuit isn't really a hider to be honest, but he does like his fluffy tunnel. Generally, he'll slepp with his head just inside the tunnel and the rest of him outside.

Caramel will basically hide in anything. He does like the dome/stick thing from P@H but he's quite happy to have a chube, tunnel, chair or ball of hay.

Mine loves to hide! Not from me, but in general. He has a plastic igloo, a cardboard box, and an oatmeal tube in his cage. He mostly chews on the box, but hides in the igloo and tube (which I stuff with hay and fluff).

When I let him out, he likes to hide under things, unless he's the center of attention.

My lot seem to like hideys in general.

The love their little wooden corner house and wooden platform. Pippa especially loves grass-houses (but trashes them within days rolleyes ). They all seem to like cardboard boxes too and spend ages nibbling the edges

Ooh, and they all love fleece 'tents' to hide underneath in their playpen. Boris shoots through them at a hundred miles an hour whilst the girls are trying to sleep :(|)

Well my piggies have wooden houses, cozies, chubes, logs, pigloos and up until today a grassy house, which they ate and destroyed so I binned the remains of that today rolleyes

They all use everything, though despite the amount of hidey places for them they still insist on digging up the fleece and lying underneath it. You just see piggy shape lumps moving around underneath it :))
