Best Houses?

The title is rubbish really but I couldn't think what I wanted to say:{

What do your piggies like the best to hide/sleep in? As in cacoons, pigloo's etc. Which do you find the best?

The boys love cardboard boxes etc but as they chew them they don't last very long, they also have playstix in their cage but I'm wanting to replace their Savic Rody Igloos with something new and preferably without a base as they get manky even with newspaper/fleece inside them.

Any suggestions? And any suggestions on cheapest place to purchase theese from?

If you have 'the range' near you they sell those wooden cabin houses. Maybe worth a look?

Mine just like to sleep in cosies and in their arm chairs, but they are located under the ramp which is dark. :)
 
My three each have their own favourites

Willow likes to sleep in a pigloo. At the moment she has one of theones with the bases but it does need to be cleaned at least once a day rolleyes They have a larger one in their hutch with no base that fits two piggies comfortably though:)

Pippa like the grass house, similar to these http://www.petsathome.com/shop/woodlands-small-pet-grass-nest-15914 (although the ones from Pampered Piggies seem to be much sturider and last longer)

Pixel loves threelittlepigs Cavy Cosies and sleeps in hers every night. In fact she's snoozing in there now zzz

I'm sure the pets at home one has metal in it, I saw pictures of one a pig had destroyed, so I wouldn't buy it! Pampered piggies grassy house is fine, It's probably the same size as the pet at home one! I was thinking of getting some grassy houses for the hay loft as everyone is snoozing in the open up there!
 
Our boys love their Cacoon houses, but in general if they're not sleeping in their house they love sleeping out in the open, or on top of one of Pollie's cozies.

They're great and fit one piggie well - Pippa loves hers :)

I'd definaltly get one of these over the P@H ones.

Joanne, I don't think there's metal in the P@H ones, but my girls managed to make an extra door in theirs and it collapsed within about a fortnight rolleyes They've not gone through a Pampered Piggies one yet ;)

My boys are very messy and we clean their current igloos out at least once a day but they are still starting to get manky now after 6 months of use. Bailey does like to sleep out in the open sometimes, in the hay trays but Guinness is a shy little soul and likes to wrap up in some fleece in his igloo, I'm going to get some cosies too I think as well as houses.

Pollies cosies are excellent and so soft :)!
 
My lot finish off the grass houses really really fast! They don't last long at all.

But very popular - I have had types like the pampered piggies one and like hut type things.

Mine like big wooden houses too. In fact when Bessie is spooked she always runs into hers and peeps out the windows - it's very cute indeed!
 
Mine all have childrens stools & love them, now it's winter-time i cover them with a fleece blanket to help them keep warmer but they usually pull it onto the floor to poop/pee on it :))

Stools can be bought in B&M or Home Bargains for £1 & Tesco did sell them but theirs were £2.50 (i think) :)

I stopped using pigloos because some of my piggies were causing condensation to build on the roofs (the pigloos with the turret tops were the worst)
