Any advice please on best fleece out there. I've got some but it's very thin. I have newspaper, towels and then the fleece. This is in the cage with the new girls.
Dear pickle who is definitely showing signs of loneliness is in a 2 storey hutch with puppy pads newspaper and hay. Can't wait to get them all together in the C&C.
So any recommendations re fleece would be great thank you x

I started with Vet Fleece, it's very thick and has a green back, I wash it every 4 days and it feels up the machine (I wash everything in a horse bag to protect the machine from hay). I also have polar fleece that I bought off Amazon, which is a lot thinner but fits in the washing machine with their fleece tunnels etc and is easy to pick up and tip everything off into the bin each day. Vet Fleece can be tipped up too and also you can use a vacuum cleaner or dust pan and brush. I use disposable incontinence pads underneath that I change daily, or towels or a washable incontinence pad that I change every other day.

This is Clove modelling Vet Fleece and this is their site Heavy Duty HD (1500 GSM) - Greenback - Vetfleece

You're welcome :) Just remember to close up the horsebag...I just looked at my washing machine and all my fleece bits are loose! Dreading how much hay is now going to be blocking up the machine!

Oh no Hmmmm where would I get a horse bag from? I'll have a nose on amazon. Fleece snuggle things have just arrived. It's so exciting.

I got an orange horsebag from ebay, I think it's a large, I can't remember. I'll see if there's any hay in the machine when the wash has finished! It's been making noises for months, as if it's straining to pump, so this won't help.

Fleece snuggle pouches and tunnels are a must too! Even if you use a thin fleece, they will sit on or in these.

I also use fleece+newspapers+towel and I am very satisfied. The quality of my fleece is good, it is not too thin. I bought it at the textile shop. I wash it into the machine with all the laundry (no softener) and it comes out almost dry. There is no smell of wee at all and newspapers are free...
this is what I find in the morning taking off all the "furniture":

I find hay gets everywhere even though my piggies are in a big C&C cage and food is up one end. They are starting to use their potty more though which is good.
