Hi, what's the best bedding for a guinea pig with sore feet? I've found vet bed online, which for the size I need is around £55 (cage is 5ft x 2ft).

Does anyone who's used if know if it's the best thing to use and is that a good price for it? And how durable it is? I'm thinking it would need to be washed every couple of days so I'm wondering how long it still stay in good usable condition?

Any help/advice will be gratefully received!

Vetbed is good, very absorbent and wicks very well. I have used it in the past and it lasts well.
You need an absorbent layer underneath and yes it needs to be washed every few days, but if you are dealing with a diagnosed case of bumblefoot for example; then pieces may need to be changed daily.

You will not be able to put a whole piece of that size in your washing machine though as it is very heavy (it definitely will unbalance the machine), so it ideally should be cut into multiple smaller pieces and washed a couple of pieces at a time.

What I would do is a fleece in the whole cage but buy smaller either fleece pee pads or smaller pieces of vetbed and put them under hides and in high traffic areas.

I second vet bed. I use it while I have piggies that don't move around much due to old age or illness. You should be able to get away with putting small pieces in the places your piggy lies the most like inside/under houses, this is what I do. Most of my vet bed has been offcuts from ebay or petnhome which I cut up into smaller bits. The greenback fabric is slightly better than the non slip with a rubber back, the green lasts longer, the rubber tends to break up after a few years. I have both types though and use it successfully with newspaper underneath to absorb the wet.

When I had a piggy with bumble foot I used vet bed and it was very good. I have a 6 ft x 2ft hutch and I cut the vet bed up into a 4ft and a 2ft piece and my washing machine coped fine with it.

Another vote for vet bed. And for cutting it into smaller pieces that you can place where they hang out the most and change more frequently.

Thanks everyone, I think I'll go with the vet bed, it sounds like it is expensive but is worth it!
