New Born Pup
Hello,
I haven't posted much on the forum, but y'all were so wonderful when I lost one of my boars recently. My remaining boy is three years old, and the general consensus is that he'll appreciate a new playmate. I have had no success with foster options near me. The best guinea pig group I can find is around four hours away and does not cater to the metropolitan area that I am in. That leaves straight out adoption, which is fine. My question, though, is about recommended age range of the new boar. Would a baby or younger pig be easier for BP to bond with? I am uneasy with an older pig or one of unknown age because of so much loss; it is difficult on BP but is also taking its toll on my teenage daughter. Thank you in advance for your suggestions.
