Benefits Of Glass Water Bottles?

Hello

I was just wondering what the benefits are of glass bottles? I've seen them in stores but am not quite sure if they are any different from the standard plastic ones and how.

I just want to know if they are quieter than plastic?
Seriously I am at my wits end with the bottle clacking that my 3 do day and night!

But in answer to your question I know a lot of people have said their pigs prefer drinking from glass, which is an undoubted plus in this weather.
They would also be easier to really clean properly because you can use hotter water, etc.
I don't have them (yet) because the kids look after the guinea pigs and we have tile floors. I envision a smashed bottle + glass everywhere disaster....

Based on some of the reviews I've seen on here I have bought my piggies the Living World glass bottles. They adore them! The water stays cooler in them in this hot weather. They are easy to clean out and my piggies don't twang them like they did the plastic ones.
