well not exactly belly button fluff, but Ive had, i think, a brilliant idea.

well, the fluff that's left over in the dryer could this be used to stuff an internal cushion cover and put to use as bedding?

has anyone experienced this, i just had my light bulb moment as i was getting the fluff out of my dryer :(|)

any advice or thoughts on this idea

I put the fluff and cut off hair from my longhaired piggies out in the garden - it's always disappeared by the next morning!

well, it would be a good use for it! ....... but i'm slightly worried if you have enough belly button fluff to stuff a cushion cover, must be a nightmare when you wear tight fitting dresses! :))

Same with my dog hair when I brush them! And when house martens built a nest in our shed it looked very comfy, full of dog hair and hay!

I put mine out in the garden for the birds, they take it for their nets :) at the moment, I am keeping al my dog hair in a bag. They are able to use it for the oil spill in Mexico, so I am going to wrap it up and send it to them :)

Hi Higilty. A word of warning for everyone: Please don't use dryer lint - it's highly flammable and catches fire very easily. It should never be used for home crafts!
It's brilliant if you want to go camping and need to start the camp fire, but I wouldn't recommend stuffing cushion for your precious piggys.
When I made cosies for my piggies, I bought wadding; it is available from all good haberdashery supplies - I got some from Dunelm for £2.99 a metre.

my mum puts tumble dryer fluff out for the birds in a square bird feeder which is supposed to be for those square fat thingys. they use it to line their nests and it is gone in no time! I chuck mine in the bin as it is usually 50% pig hair and 50% fluff which i think is a bit gross!
