Before people get alarmed, I dont smother my pig.

when I bathe my piggies nose (fungal infection) I sit him on a towel and wrap it around him so that his arms and legs are not flailing and he doesnt scramble onto the floor (hes only about 9wks old) He seems to love this. He snuggles right down and just sits and takes it, often looking like hes about to fall alseep. Without the towel is a different story. I must say, I think this is unbelievably cute. Do all pigs like being lightly swaddled? If he didnt like it, he would let me know lol

Well mine love getting wrapped up after they've had a bath. They'll happily sit for over an hour, only moving to poop in another part of the towel before moving back into position. They like burrowing into the fleece when on my lap as it makes them feel safe.

I had been looking at toys and huts etc for them. An upturned shoes box with the lid cut off, stuffed with hay and an entrance and exit cut out seems to be a winner at the moment though. Glad I didn't bother spending the £12.

I love your display image by the way

Cardboard boxes are always favoured over shop bought things by my piggies. :(|)
The cardboard tube from a kitchen roll stuffed with hay is another favourite.

Mine love being wrapped up in a towel after their bath. They also like hiding in the towel at playtime.
Shoeboxes and large ice cream containers are favourites with my piggies although I made them their houses with wood for the hutches. (Mine are outside piggies)

Mine love burrowing into hay and just burying themselves in it :) so I guess it's kinda the same thing with burrowing into a towel.

Moxie also loves going inside my clothes, up my sleeves and all like a hamster or something, but he's still a baby really.

My girls all seem to LOVE being snuggled up too, wheter it be under a towel, fleece of a pile of hay :) I guess it's a bit of a safety thing maybe..being out of sight?

Dindy loves being wrapped up after a bath, all awaddled up with her head just poking out.

My Vet never told me a thing about HOW to actually give him his meds, I just had to try it and see what worked.

We put blankets out over the sofa yesterday and let them explore a little as it was hammering it down outside..they loved it, one piggy started jumping up and down and they were pooping and peeing to their hearts content :P

My daughter gets very worried then they wheek and wants to know what she can do for them. bless her. I'm not entirely sure myself, sometimes its food, sometimes they need to pee and other times nowt at all.

I believe piggies are long grass animals, roaming and making 'nests' or 'hides' in it as required. It suits a lot about their personalities to push into somewhere and feel covered on all sides and they particularly enjoy pushing into hay. They feel safe, comforted, happy like this.

my 2 love being wrapped up! I have them sitting with me on my knee on the sofa in the evenings, I usually sit them on a towel because they cover me in hairs (and just in case they wee - however this doesn't happen often now they aren't babies) and they love getting wrapped up in it to snuggle.
Pigs in blankets :D
