New Born Pup
Hey everyone! First post here:
So I got a guinea pig in late November, who is awesome and now I couldnt help getting another. They are both males. The first one, bean, was just getting better at letting his guard down. Like when I walked in the room he wouldnt sprint to the corner of his cage etc. He has always been pretty hard to catch when it comes time to get back in the cage, but when I did catch him he would be calm. Now, after bringing pinto home, Bean seems to be more on edge. I walk in the room or stand up after sitting for a while and they both hide instantly. And last night I was sitting on the ground and bean would climb on my lap to get a treat, and would let me pet him but the second he finished his carrot he would sprint away haha. I'm wondering why he is getting less shy in some ways like climbing on my lap, but seems more shy in other ways like running away. Is it possible he is just doing what Pinto is doing (cuz pinto is young and runs away all the time).
