I have two guinea pigs (waffles and buttercup) waffles is older then buttercup and I wanted to know why is both my guinea pigs get atop of each other? Even when there are separate, they still are atop of each other, why is that?

:wel:
Mounting is a normal dominance behaviour. They do it to show who is boss. If they are both mounting each other, then it can often be because they are both equally matched in dominance. It’s nothing to worry about and is perfectly normal. I’ve added in a guide below about dominance behaviours.

I agree with @Piggies&buns. It is completely normal :) Only one of mine mounts and that is when she is on heat and the other one just rumblestrutts lol. It can be quite funny to watch, but is all perfectly normal
