Beetroot

I got some of the uncooked beetroot reduced to 15p(instead of £1.57!) a bunch last night at Asda and now i don't know what to do with it.
Do i just peel it and cube it? Want to try my girlies with it later

my boys love the leaves! (just 1 or 2 though)

and i love it boiled, peeled and either pickled in vinegar or just cold after boiling and peeling

watch out though cos i panicked when they pee'd red afterwards!

Beetroot is my piggies favourite veg. I don't peel it just chop it up and give it to them. I love their lipstick pouts when they've finished. xoxo

Their pee and poo is pink tho' after!

I gave mine raw and sliced up didnt peel it dont think they ate much of it tho.

I grew Beetroot in my little plot this year,the Guineas loved the leaves from it but didn't give them the actuall beetroot,its gorgeous roasted with your roasties!
