Meet new lad on the block, Valentine. He's a pets at home adoption centre piggy who was brought in by his owner due to fighting with his friend. He's a gorgeous lad and you can see why I was sold immediately. I don't have a thing for ginger and white...) He's a young lad who'll be neutered and find himself a wife here.

What a handsome lad We were going in P@H earlier today luckily there weren't any piggies in the adoption corner. There were 3 gorgeous babies in the main cage for sale that my daughter was nagging for us to get.

Brillo was going to be Valentine because I found him (or he found me!) on Valentines Day. Once he'd been with us a few days we realised the name didn't suit him. I can't believe he's only been here since February, seems like he's always been here.

He was called Able in the store, but I didn't like it. Valentine came to me so I knew it was his name

It’s funny how quickly they slot themselves into daily life. I remember last year was the first time we had a holiday after getting the boys. I had to drop them to boarding but it seemed sooo quiet without them there! Not that they made much noise in general Even the kids kept saying they missed them when we were away

Look on it as a rescue which means that you have been a very good girl.
That’s how Micah came to join my herd.
At 12 weeks old he was a scared and lonely little boar who’d been bullied and labelled as having to live alone.

He’s now a very happy boy with his 3 wives

Valentine is gorgeous! I always wish I could bring home all the lonely boars, but realistically we have 2 very charming boars and 6 ladies in 2 cages and during uni term time I'm not sure I could manage another cage... next summer we might consider foster boars if anyone has any needing a place to stay...
