Bedmax shavings, will they be ok?

When I last brought my bale of shavings, the pet shop didn’t have my usual snowflake shavings just Bedmax so I brought these instead as they’re dust extracted.

I cleaned the pigs cage this morning snd opened the pack of Bedmax to discover that the shavings are quite large and rough. I have put them in the cage as I have nothing else and can’t afford to waste them but will they be ok to use? They’re not dusty at all, just large rough flakes

Yes it’s fine to use.
Once you’ve put it in the cage, you can always squash it down with your hand so it is more compact - i imagine they will kick it back up again though

I use littlemax it's via the same company,just smaller shaving and I like them as its does not get caught in longhair.also absorbent.Bedmax is fine.
