I use wood flakes for the bottom of Chocks cage
I've found that to be the best bedding for my pigs over the years having tryed other types like yesterdays news and carefresh...

I use abiouse in my litter trays.Keeps smell down and top layer always dry

I would say that it probably depends on where you keep your pigs (inside or outside) and the type of cage you have.
I currently use Abiouse in an outdoor hutch that is actually inside!
I am planning to get a C&C cage, and give fleece a trial.

I have 4 boars, separated into 2 pairs, each in a 5ft X 2ft C & C cage. I use Back 2 Nature litter over the whole cage floor, and then use a layer of soft meadow hay on top. The litter absorbs urine really well, and the hay is soft on their feet and they can burrow into it too.

I use fleece for my pigs but if you want a more natural bedding Hutch Hemp from Friendship Estates is really good. I use it for my rabbits and it keeps their litter trays nice and dry, I change it twice a week and it never smells :)
The pee goes right to the bottom and the top stays dry which you don't get with wood shavings/sawdust.

What kind of cage do you have and is it indoor or outdoor?
As someone else said depending on what cage you have will depend on the bedding you'll use to suit your cages needs...
