Bedding Wars!

Who else has had battles of the bedding? And which bedding did you end up using? I ended up with all fleece. Which beddings did you use? I tryed Kaytee Clean & Cozy paper bedding, shredded newspaper, newspaper, pine wood shavings, fleece with kitchens, and fleece. Just wondering if this has happend to anyone else.

Oh yes, have gone through this myself! First it was eco bedding. The boys rarely strayed from their cosies or any area with fabric (I used to put wool beanies under their plastic pigloos.

So, decided it can't be soft enough for them. Went onto organic sugar cane mulch. Definitely softer and they would actually stretch out in it.

Then I got them a 2 story hutch with attached run. This meant the bottom was entirely open and sitting on tile floor (all my floors are tile or wood and although a wood and wire hutch it is used inside, not outside.) No good for bedding they can kick out. Went onto mattress protector + towels + fleece. Well, the popcorning! So, fabric was their thing.

Then I worried being on tile flooring it might not be cushy enough for them. So now they are on matress protector + vet bed! They love it. I love it.
