Hello, Welcome to the forum..

Two of our girls are on Woodshavings. Our new girl is on Fkeece with towels underneath. The Fleece you need is the 100% Polyester type, Primark/Argos/Pondstretcher/Asda all sell fleece balnkets. They do need several washes to increase there wicking action... Wash without softener also.

Various bedding reviews can be found on this sticky http://www.theguineapigforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=53208

I used fleece for a time but when we expanded the piggy family, switched to vet bed. Still use fleece blankets, polar is the nicest as it is so soft.
I found the fleece needing changing every 2-3 days, vet bed I can leave for 5-7 - still spend my days off washing and drying the stuff but wouldn't use anything else now. Doesn't suit everyones needs but I like it and it's cosy for the piggies :(|)
This was the supplier I used for fleece:

I make and use cage liners, much easier than most other beddings, its fleece sewn to a mattress topper, the pee spreads through the wadding and dries

After a year and a half of washing a combination of fleece, towels, incontinence bed pads, vetbed (almost every day!) I have as of yesterday started using using doggy puppy pads (to protect the cage bottom), a thick layer of newspaper, a layer of dust free horse litter with loads of hay on top, and so far I love it! I could not leave mine more than 24 hours on fleece it got very damp and smelly and the towels were soaked in a couple of places - when I get home after being out at work 11 hours the poo levels were ridiculous. I also had 2 large litter trays stuffed with hay with the fleece set up which got changed completely daily also but this didnt help the situation! Mind you, it was fine when I had 2 girls but when I got a boy and now all 3 are together, I gave up! I still have a bit of fleece and vetbed on the top level of the cage :) I will still be changing the hay and most the litter every day but it will save me a fortune in electricity, washing tablets and expensive oxy action extra hygene stuff! ;)

We all poop sweep daily with a dustpan or a 'poover' if we use fleece or liners the toppers have a water resistant backing which stops urine going on the tray and keeping it in the airy wadding part allowing it to dry, those pics are all customers orders and i have 14 on order that i am doing this weekend.

This is my shop

Tesco have a brand of the 'oxy' powder that I use on the light vet bed and fleece, brings it all up lovely and only £1.59 a tub. Have one for coloureds too but haven't tried that yet, will get one tomorrow and their washing powders etc. are all on offer atm.
I swear by it now :)

I've got my fur babies on newspaper/towels/fleece and with a little poo sweeping daily, and a large box filled with aspen shavings/hay in their kitchen, I don't find it too much to clean. I do find though, that I need to change out the bedding more frequently in my boar's cage (with 2 piggies) than I do with my girl's cage (with 4 piggies). I wash their bedding twice weekly with a non-toxic HE laundry soap, do a double rinse and then pop the load into the dryer on cool for 10 minutes. It's the most inexpensive option for me that I have found over the past year, after going through loads of shavings and carefresh. Ultimately, it's really up to you as to what type of bedding you want for your WEE ones. :p
