Well, I dont know any easier way to say this but, there's bedding going into my guinea pig's bum and p3n!s :/ idk if this is safe for him, I usually pick it out, but is this gonna cause any damage in the future? I'm getting him new bedding, I just need to know if this is gonna hurt him, does he poop or pee this out? pls help ://

What sort of bedding is your piggy on?
Hello I have two boars and hay does sometimes does get into their privates. I pull it out very gently. Also wood shavings do go up their anal sack when they are scenting (ie rubbing their bottoms on along the floor) but that comes out. They’ve never had any stuck up there.

We regularly have to help Hamish clean, he's always got hay etc stuck, but Hector has not yet needed any help.

Chiming in. My boars get hay stuck in the bum too. I gently pull it out when I take them out for floor/lap time unless I notice it when I am feeding/cleaning their cage. I use fleece pads so I cannot attest to bedding getting stuck up there.
