So I'm loosing the will with fleece after 18months on it so looking to switch to a loose bedding for my two boys.
Does anyone use bedsoft at all? either the original (wheat straw) or bio (rape seed oil straw)
Or does anyone recommended snowflake bedding (are these kiln dried pine as cant see anything about it?)
Or is aubiose the best you can get?

I'm not hugely fussed on price but rather something that's going to work well with my boys especially as they are long haired.

Straw is a no as it's not absorbant and can be quite pokey, so could hurt their eyes.

The only snowflake I know is the woodshavings. I've used that before, but with a layer on top. I'm not a fan of woodshavings on it's own.

I've not had any experience of aubiose.

I use fleece, but have two areas that has a puppy pad with woodshavings or megazorb on, with a layer of hay over it so it's comfy to sleep in. Then their feeding hay is on top in a pile.

@BossHogg uses snowflake I think so he will be able to tell you about it. I got through too much loose bedding and couldn't dispose of it all as my cage is quite large so wet over to fleece and vetbed, must say I love it.

Yep, I use snowflake, far better than wood shavings, its soft pine wood chips. Very absorbent and doesn't blow around like shavings. As its chips, it good for patting down to give a reasonably firm surface underfoot whilst remaining soft to walk on. ;)

ive use aubiose, megasorb and snowflake softchip, and standard snowflake shavings with soft chip blended in,i like aubiose because it is very absorbant,Bliss Basic which is a chopped rapeoil straw bedding is very soft and absorbent.it is very similar to Aubiose.Megazorb is very soft and extremely absorbent.i use megazorb ,place a layer of bliss, soft chip ,or aubiose on top.it is really down to what works best for you and your piggies.
