Just wondered if anyone had used 'Beaphar cage fresh granules' and what they thought of them?

Any ideas what they are?

Are they to make the cage smell better? If so, I would say they aren't safe...scented things shouldn't be used around piggies imo. If they're not for that though then what are they for?

I have them, but ive never used them in cage they're not safe. :-\

I bought them once, but opened the lid and they smelt REALLY strong, so I never used them!

I would not recommend them for piggies, they are to neutralise odours and smell quite stong.

I got them for my rat as she does not come into contact with the base of her cage and they don't even work that well.

I use Megazorb and found that to be quite effective in reducing odour, mind you the last few weeks Popcorn seems to be going for a record in being cleaned out ;D
