Morning.
I was just after some advice on whether I should query dosage for our guinea pig who we think has a URI. She has been switched from sulfatrim to baytril as she didn't respond.
She has been prescribed 0.35 once a day. She is 850g. Should I query why it isn't twice daily?

Hi and welcome!

Dosages in respiratory infections are generally lower than with urinary tract infections. The baytril dosage is within in an acceptable range for a daily dosage. Whether you want to split the dosage and give half about every 12 hours is your choice unless your vet expressly wants you to give a single large dose every day.
