Batting (it can be called wadding too, or any of the brand names, like Dacron) is usually pretty cheap £1-3 /yard depending on the thickness. You can buy it from fabric stores or I think people have bought it cheap from Dunelm Mills?

When I was making my cuddle cup for the boys I just used teddy bear stuffing, which you can get from most haberdasherys and if you have a local boys stores they stock teddy bear stuffing too, if not you can also use scraps of materiel to stuff your tunnel with it wont be as soft as wadding but is a good make shift padding. :)

can i wash it with the teddy bear stuffing in? I don`t mean to sound stupid lol

I don't know what kind of stuffing you mean, but I imagine it might bunch up in the wash? It's washable, no doubt, but if it was just a bunch of stuffing that wasn't secured in the seams it would probably get lumpy. Maybe if you quilt it?

sorry but what do * mean by quilt it?/

Teddy bear stuff does bunch up a little in the wash however if you do quilt it does hold in place securely, and if you firstly pull the wadding apart iron it (low temp) flat as well it wont move, mines been washed about ten times now and its still held in place! :) good luck!

and skrikopanik has explained quilting very well! :)
