One of my Guinea pigs has long hair and white, the back end (bum) all the fur is dirty and brown, Iv gave him a trim so it don’t get any more dirty (it started to knot their no matter how much i brushed him). Is it worth me bathing him as he’s still quite dirty or will it only upset him?

You don’t really want to bathe unless absolutely necessary (usually only for medical purposes) but it depends on what you are dealing with.
If it is staining then you may never fully get it out anyway (it can be hard ever getting stains properly out of white hair) so bathing may be futile, and it could just be a case of leaving it to grow out. Once it’s grown enough and you cut it again, eventually it’ll go.

I have one long haired piggy and two others who have long skirts. I keep all of their hair around their back end kept short all the time.

:agr: You don't want to be bathing unnecessarily.
What kind of 'dirt' is it? Simple hair staining, or a matt made up of poo etc.?
@Betsy wrote an amazing guide for keeping long haired guinea pigs hygienic, but I can't find it for the life of me.

I have a very hairy piggie
We have regular “bum baths’
Little warm water in a old sweet tub and we place bum and back feet in
Quick wash and then follow with cuddles and a dry off then treat.
