I bath my Guinea Pigs about once every Three Months. how often is the right time to bath a Guinea Pig.

I dont bath any of my short haired piggies, the only time i bath Archie who is a long haired is when he is due a haircut, or he is really grubby which is every couple of months.

There's no right and wrong time. Long hairs generally need bathed more often. If a piggy has lice it will obviously need a bath more often. My short hairs probably get bathed even less than every 3 months in the winter but more in the summer.

bathing piggies

welcome from me and the girls from oz:)p:)p i have had piggies for years and have never bathed one!
they had had tooshie washes but never a full on bath. as a child we had a piggy who got fly blown whom we kept bathing to get rid of the maggots but this didn't help and sadly we had to let him sleep forever.:(:(
i know different beliefs and conditions from oz to UK, but unless my piggies roll in do do they never have nor will have a bath!
i love their piggy smell, but each to their own, and thankfully (touching wood) mine have never had lice or mites either.
good luck with your piggiesxx>>>xx>>> and welcome again, have fun, learn heaps and make lots of friends:rose:rose
