Bathing After A Uti?

I was just wondering whether it was OK to give Mandril a bath after he has completed his antibiotics for a UTI? He has had a prolonged infection (4 weeks) but has been X-rayed and there are no stones. I didn't want to irritate his bladder if it was too soon. I always use a guinea pig shampoo. Mandril has always lived indoors.

Shouldn't be an issue. How are his issues? Is he still squeaking when weeing etc...?

No he's been squeak- free for 8 days now but is on antibiotics until Monday. It's been a long haul and I don't want to wreck his recovery! An infection is presumed but of course it may turn out to be IC-he hasn't had a urine culture drawn directly from the bladder
