Bathing a piggy

i’ve taken my guinea pig a shower but it’s really hard to shower him because he doesn’t like it but it’s also hard to shower him by the bottom of the stomach. does anyone know how i can do it ?

Why are you bathing your piggy? You only need to do it if he’s particularly dirty. If it’s just his bum/lower stomach then you could just use a cloth to wipe him down. If you’re bathing you need to put very shallow in a sink, basin, or bath tub. Have a read of the guide I’ve linked below.

Could you answer my question please: why did he need a bath?

We also like to be introduced to piggies so do introduce your boy and tell us a bit about him (Introduction section). Does he have a friend? They’re highly social and need constant companionship of their own kind.

Please don’t bathe your piggy it is highly stressful and they don’t need it.

i agree, they don’t need routinely bathing. It’s not good for their skin and it is stressful for them.
it only really needs to be done for a medical need
